Lots of tour companies will tell you that they know all the “off the beaten track” locations or hidden gems, but if you’ve been following me on social media then you already know I back that up! Exploring Scotland is what I love doing and sharing it in person with somebody like you makes it even better.
On a Scotland’s Stories Guided Tour, I can’t guarantee good weather, but I can guarantee a trip full of laughter, wonder and memories that will last forever. And probably a lot of bad jokes, although that hasn’t stopped me being awarded the Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice Award!

Every tour is bespoke and therefore so is the cost. Get in touch with as many details as possible and I will prepare a quote!

Don’t just take my word for it though, here are some comments from previous guests on Scotland’s Stories Tours:
Not just a vacation, but a happening that will last a lifetime. - When this authentic Scottish dude picks you up and very carefully loads you onto his well-equipped Scottish steed, you realize you’ve wandered into your very own Scottish Story.

You can’t believe that you’re touring Scotland with Rob Roy or Robert the Bruce, all the while visiting fascinating place after fascinating place while his deep storytelling voice conjures up every little historical detail, and then he digs into his vast depth of Scottish lore to tell you a story or two to bring the place to life.
After you get used to traveling with a giant Scottish dude who everyone stares at, you realize that the real genius of the man is his depth of knowledge combined with stories that burst out of him when you least expect it. He takes you to your favorite places and then throws in a few surprises along the way.
He loves so many things: Molly, Scotland, storytelling, history, tradition, good food, great whisky, adventure, his precious Scottish people, and you, the lucky traveler who may just get to spend a few days crafting your own Scottish story with this extraordinary Scottish man.
It’s not just a vacation, it’s a happening. Book him while you can. He’s going to be booked for a long, long while.

Great fun and informative. - After doing some research and reading the reviews here, I decided, in the end, to book Graeme (being a dog lover, I asked him to include the adorable Molly 🐾)... read more for a day trip, and when he asked me where I wanted to go, I just said, 'surprise me!' I wanted to be taken off the beaten track, seeing as I had already visited many of Scotland's famous landmarks. And I was not disappointed by the 'magical mystery tour' he took me on. The moment you meet Graeme you instantly feel comfortable in his company (there's nothing fake or commercial about him). We hit it off, which is so important when you're spending time with someone, be it a day or week. He’s a down-to-earth, no-nonsense guy who is deeply passionate about Scotland, its history and folklore which comes across in his delivery of his stories. Also, he's one of the genuine guides around, and really knows his stuff! His knowledge simply pours from him. I loved all the extras (the famous Tunnocks tea cakes, Irn Brù and drams for his guests an added bonus) he threw into his stories, sometimes separating fact from fiction and clearing up a few historical inaccuracies. In all, I had a brilliant fun day out, Molly 🐾 making it extra special, as well as climbing Doon Hill which was also a first for Graeme. I highly recommended Graeme if you're planning some tours when visiting Scotland. You will not be disappointed 🏴🥃💙.

The most unforgettable Scotland Adventure with Graeme. The best storyteller, guide and friend we could ask for! - Our 12-day Northwest Scotland tour with Graeme from start to finish was absolutely incredible. Words cannot adequately describe what an amazing time we had! Graeme’s knowledge of Scottish culture, history... read more and stories made every stop special; from Grassmarket in Edinburgh to the more remote areas of the NC500 like Applecross and Assynt as well as the islands destinations like Mull and Arran! From the moment Graeme picked us up at Edinburgh Waverly, he was friendly and professional, eager to show us what Scotland has to offer.
It was our second trip to Scotland but Graeme made everything feel new and exciting! He was more than just a tour guide or chauffeur, but felt more like a friend taking us on an epic road trip! Graeme’s storytelling and his knowledge of Scotland’s history, culture and folklore is truly unparalleled and what a joy it was for us to be able to experience it for ourselves! We could really see his enthusiasm and love for Scotland in every story he tells, and we were in absolute awe of how he can remember them all! Moreover, Graeme also has the ability to combine his story narrative with great humor and warmth, keeping us both engaged and laughing the whole way! Graeme is very passionate about what he does and he genuinely cares that both of us have the best possible experience the entire time.
Being a very type A person that loves to plan all our trips down to the minute, I was pleasantly surprised how hands off I was able to be and get to enjoy being surprised at every stop we made! Every day was perfectly planned by Graeme and we never felt rushed or bored. We had meaningful as well as funny unhinged conversations during our long drives that made this trip so memorable. He struck the ideal balance between sharing stories, visiting distilleries, going on walks and giving us time to just admire a good view of the scenery, enjoying picnics by the castle or simply just eating our meal in his car. Graeme managed to include the perfect blend between both of our wants and interests, working through an extremely long list of demands we had set out for him at the beginning of our inquiry. What was even more amazing was that Graeme was able to expertly handle all of our curve balls (spur of the moment requests) with grace and finesse!
Graeme truly went about and beyond for us in every way possible. We hope to have made a lifelong friend and we will never forget all that Graeme had done for us. Hoping to see him again for our 3rd trip to Scotland in 2027!
