Sterling and Brilliant - We seized the opportunity for a private tour with bespoke tour guide Graeme Johncock with “Scotlands-stories”. Graeme communicated well over email and over Zoom. He listened to our vocations... read more and avocations and customized one day to the Scottish Highlands and a second day to the Scottish Lowlands. He blended our interests in engineering, history, arts, people and even agriculture.Throughout both days,
Graeme had unbounded energy and piqued our interests with vibrant and well-timed Scotland’s Stories. Moreover, he was a safe, smooth and courteous driver.
He maximized one day with the Falkirk Wheel, Kelpies tour, Stirling Castle, Highland Hairy Cows, a toast to Rob Roy, Glencoe and James Bond photo shoot, Fort William and Neptune’s Staircase, and even searched for Nessie! On our second day after Rosslyn Chapel, he surprised us with the Templar Cemetery. As we returned to the car, I spotted an important glass sculptor and modern glass engraver studio with the artist outside. She invited us in for a lovely and warm-hearted tour. Graeme sensed our level of interest and responded well with our diversion from our planned second day.
We give Graeme top marks and highly recommend his grand tour guiding and his extensive story telling services.

Best Tour in Scotland - In short, the time we booked with Graeme was fantastic! Would we recommend booking time with him? Yes! Would we book time with him again? Absolutely!
He took the... read more time to talk with us over Zoom before our visit to get to know us and understand our interests. Throughout our time, we felt like our tour was built just for us. He told us countless stories and taught us so much about Scottish culture. We certainly got to see little gems across Scotland that we wouldn’t have seen without his expertise. Even on the days we ventured out on our own he gave us recommendations as to what we should do and he was able to tell us more about what we had seen.
Definitely a highlight of our Scottish adventure.

Highly recommend! - Graeme FaceTimed with us before our trip to ask about our interests. History, botony, and bugs were on my list as a teacher. Spirits and local cusine were... read more on my husbands.
Graeme was prompt. He took us to the highlands the first day. The second day was Fife and St Andrews. We experienced gourmet chocolate, ancient churches and burial sights, the oldest tree in Europe, an outstanding lunch and a whiskey toast in the middle of a waterfall the first day. Day 2 we headed to the costal villages and St Andrews ruins and the gardens at Kallie castle. The day ended again with another scenic toast!
Graeme is very likable and has a generous spirit. We enjoyed hearing his stories of sheep shearing and lambing with his girlfriends family in addition to his wealth of knowledge about Scottish history. It seemed like we had made a dear friend by the end of our time together.
Each tour lasted from 9 am to 6 pm or so.
I will most definitely ask him to tour us again next time we come. We felt complete comfortable and safe with him even though he drives on the wrong side of the road:)))
Thank you Graeme, and watch out for those butterflies😉

We were lucky enough to spend 3 days with Graeme in Sept 2022. He was the perfect, host, his love of Scotland shone through as he shared history, stories, and... read more answered my many questions. The depth of his knowledge of the country is astounding. We wanted to go to Achnacarry on our first day, which made for a very long day for him, but his kindness, wit and charm did not waver in the least. In the 3 days we spent with him he took us places we would have never even known to look for, which made the experience so special. He very quickly learned what each of us liked and adjusted each day to make sure we all had something special to look forward to. I have shared the story of our tour with many friends and even strangers and am always telling people that if they are going to Scotland they must have a tour with him and Molly, it's a truly life changing experience. I have been to Scotland many times, and I didn't think I could love it more than I already do, but spending the 3 days with Graeme has deepened my love for it & shown me a side of it that was heretofore unknown to me.
If you are going to Scotland, book a tour with Graeme, it will be the best travel decision you have ever made.
